Appearance: Standing at exatly six feet tall, Sean has a lean and very well-built body. He is pale in color and has chin-length dark red hair. Because of the effects of a ricocheted spell, one of his eyes is a very pale blue while the other is a bright spring green. He has a tribal tattoo on his left bicep and four peircings in each ear.

Personality: Sean can be a bit of a flirt at times, but he never oversteps his boundries. He tries to treat everyone as though they're his friend, unless that person shows strong signs of being a dark wizard and then he can become quiet and rather condescending around them. He absolutely loves to fool around but knows when and where it is appropriate to do so.
Likes: plants, light rains, quidditch, and practical jokes.
Dislikes: shouting, the scent of vanilla, and people with no sense of humor

History: Sean is the product of an affair between Dyllin Kael, a English Auror and Lucia Ivanova, a young Russian witch. Lucia's husband, a wizard fond of the dark arts, found out only because the three-year-old boy mentioned something about his "real" papa. Lucia was immediately placed under a mind-controlling curse in order to lure the Englishman into a trap. Dyllin found out about this and allowed himself to be lead into the house only long enough to grab Sean and attempt to escape. The jealous husband ran after him flinging spells blindly in an attempt to kill him but missed every time. One ricocheted off a tree and grazed off the toddler's eye, causing slight color blindness and hue change. Sean was then taken back to England and never left his father's sight until Lucia caught up with them on the eve of his tenth birthday. Dyllin was murdered in front of the boy and Sean was taken back to Russia where it was attempted to raise him as a Dark Wizard.

The next few years were nothing short of torture for him as he had loved his father dearly. Everything his stepfather tried to teach him went against the values instilled into him by Dyllin. He wrote numerous letters to the Aurors that his father had worked with, but all were intercepted and destroyed. By the time Sean was accepted into Drumstrang, his heart was all but crushed. He refused to give up hope on getting away from the country, though.

In Drumstrang, he found solice with the few who did not wish to harm others by the use of dark magic and discovered that he excelled most in subjects involving herbal and other natural remedies. The years could not have passed more slowly for Sean. As soon as he graduated, he set out on his own despite the wishes of his stepfather and just traveled, picking up as much as he could about herbology. Sean spent atleast a good ten years in Africa, learning whatever he could from the ancient tribal wizards through the help of french translators. Three years ago, on a whim, he decided to return to Russia and found that his family had been wiped out, by what he didn't know. Grieving very little for the Dark Wizards that raised him, he simply turned and headed to England where he heard the news of an American school that had an opening. He decided that he'd like to try his hand at boosting up the next generation and set his sights on teaching at Haunting Academy.
